What should one do if LVProsim is repeatedly restarting (LVProsim 3.25.00 and 3.25.01)?

When selecting Simulator, the following window appears:

When Selecting USB-IO, the application in use is prompted to restart LVProSim. You are then brought back to select the Input Source and the process keeps repeating. It will not open a USB connection window. Different web browsers have been tried out and the Pop-up Blocker has been disabled as well.
